J Ford recently completed a full creative facelift for Speaking Spirit Ministries’ Kingdom Kids at their Henrico Campus in Richmond, VA. The transformation reimagined the youth wing into an inspiring, message-driven environment for children ages 2–15.
On Arthur Ashe Boulevard in Richmond, this mural by J Ford The Artist tells the story of tennis legend Arthur Ashe in three stages of his life. Monochrome portraits are accented with deep purple, a color symbolizing Ashe’s dignity, grace and the honor he brought to both the sport and his community.
J Ford credits some of his early inspiration to his time spent at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Richmond. As a young Club member, Jason found more than just after-school activities - he discovered a place that nurtured his creativity, confidence and sense of community.
