Nosaj teams with CarMax Summer League to help youth build futures

Nosaj Authentics and the CarMax Foundation came together to create multiple Paint by Number murals to be painted during the 2016 CarMax Summer League at Pine Camp to commemorate 10 years of impacting the community and youth in the Metro Richmond area.

The summer league is a partnership among CarMax, the CarMax Foundation and the Richmond Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities. The league is based at the Pine Camp Cultural Arts and Community Center complex on the city’s North Side. This year’s league ran six weeks, with about 500 participants who came from all over the region. Each evening they gathered for games and ended the night with a meal provided as part of the program. Over the past 10 years, CarMax and the CarMax Foundation have invested close to $1 million in the CarMax Summer League and plans to continue the push for years to come.

Special thanks to Tom Folliard, the Carmax Foundation, CarMax, CarMax Summer League, City of Richmond Parks & Recreation, countless volunteers and kids who helped create these amazing PxN Experience. The experience proved to be a win-win for all involved.
